Göteborg - Ljungskile
- Length
- 81 km
- Estimated time
- 5-8h
Together with a number of municipalities, Västkuststiftelsen and the Tourist Board of Western Sweden are working to create a national cycle path between central Gothenburg and the Svinesund Bridge.
In order for a national cycle path to be created, an approval from the Swedish Transport Administration is needed regarding, among other things, the trail's traffic safety and attractiveness. Only when the Swedish Transport Administration has approved the entire trail, based on all quality requirements, can the trail be signposted.
The first part of the trail, between Gothenburg and Ljungskile, has now received an initial approval regarding traffic safety. To get your feedback on the route's attractiveness, we are now posting this on West Sweden Trails.
Feel free to cycle this stretch, even if it is still un signposted, and feel free to come back with your comments.
