A stage that almost exclusively goes on gravel roads. Fairly hilly, but otherwise easy to hike. This is a new section, created as a result of a major retraction of the trail a bit north.

This is a new section, created as a result of a major retraction of the trail a bit north.
The section starts at Borgmästarbruket, located along the river, just before Torp. Here are the remains of the first industrialization in Munkedal, including sawmills, mills, a smithy and housing. There is also a small picnic area nearby.
The trail then continues past Torp and follows the water for a while, before the trail enters a beautiful forest at the base of Lerbergsnäset.
The trail then passes the Harska geological nature reserve. On the slope down to Kärnsjön there is a spring and a nicely located windbreak with a view of Harskabukten.
The stage then continues on smaller gravel roads until the stage finish at Kyrkoryr.
Time: 3-4 h
Do not miss: The windshelter at Harskabukten
How to get here: Stage start can be reached by public transport. Go to the bus stop Smedsbergskrysset.
Accommodation: There are no proposed accommodations along the stage.
